ABOUT HARRYS
Harrys of London was founded in 2001 with the radical vision of combining traditional cobbling techniques with the latest footwear technology to create stylish and truly exclusive shoes for modern men.
Harrys swiftly created a number of instant classics, including the signature Jet Slipper; a decadent loafer with a soft leather sole intended exclusively for use in the carpeted confines of a private jet. The Jet Slipper continues to inspire, with 2008 seeing the launch of the Jet Moc, a reimagining of the Jet Slipper with a streamlined rubber skin.
Harrys of London has retained an unswerving commitment to the founding principle that men's shoes can be both timeless and innovative. This uncompromising vision has seen the business build an enviable reputation for quality and performance among those who believe in style with every step.
In 2005, following growing recognition around the world, Harrys of London appointed Kevin Martel to the role of Creative Director.
Martel, a former design director at Ralph Lauren footwear and Giorgio Armani, has masterminded a continued refinement and expansion of Harrys unique luxury hybrid concept into a full lifestyle collection. A growing army of impeccably shod clients and fashion editors bears witness to the respect the brand commands among discerning dressers and the press.
The organic expansion of the Harrys of London brand saw the opening of a New York showroom in 2007, and this year the company will open a flagship store in London's Mayfair, having naturally outgrown its much-loved office and boutique showroom London's Carnaby Street.
2008 also sees the launch of the Harrys of London online store, boasting the same personal service that clients have come to expect from Harrys of London.
Kevin Martel and Harrys of London remain committed to creating the very best men's shoes possible, as wearable as they are eye-catching, as outstanding as they are understated and as individual as the men who wear them.
